Description

Each day, you will be given time to reflect on your experience in Jasper National Park, and the Palisades Stewardship Education Center. Share your personal reflections on that day's events while addressing a specified question. (Over the course of the week, you are to average at least one picture per blog.) In addition to your personal statement, please comment on at least one of your peer's reflection. This assignment will be completed as a Blog, in the subfolder "Live and Interactive Journal."

Task

Journal Entry #1 Reflect on your experience canoeing on Edith Lake - what did you see, smell, hear, taste, feel?

Journal Entry #2 (Tuesday afternoon): Reflect on your experience at Patricia Lake and Cottonwood Slough - what did you see, smell, hear, taste, feel? 

Journal Entry #3 (Tuesday evening): Reflect on the Tuesday morning session (Water and the World). What are some things you would be willing to do to reduce your ecological/water footprint? 

Journal Entry #4: Seeing the power of water in the formation of the canyon today, reflect on water and the concept of Power in a way that is personally meaningful. (Take this as far as you like!)

Journal Entry #5:  Two choices: a) Reflect on the shrinking glacier in the context of Climate Change. As the stewarts of both these beautiful glaciers and powerful economic driver of the oilsands, what responsibility do we as Albertans have to converse and responsbly develop? OR b) Your choice. Just make sure you tie it back in to what we have spoken/learned about this week.
